Nothing midweek this week a case of small tides and individuals that all want different days.sorry but under 5 persons on individually rate no can do .I am governed by operating costs and when tesco had a problem with there petrol our prices went up,now with the kidnapping/arrests of service personnel in Iran our prices go up but just check our prices we WON'T be beaten and we can certainly boast the longest and most experienced. We have no control on prices so viable costs have to be implemented. Also just a word about sponsorship I have recently been approached about sponsorship. I notice it is a current thing to quote sponsor- ship something I keep away from. After 25 years as a charter skipper I don't need it, as far as I'm concerned I don't need to be bribed with free tackle I am completely independent and can give independent qualified advice and have no hesitation calling a spade a spade, look out our catches,ask our advice none of these so called names would have had any effect on our catch rate all it gives is free advertising and our advertising is our catch rate, the only thing I promote is the sport and magazines that bring you valid information.

Saturday 5 persons Patrick and Will and Mark from Maldon.Once again we faced the challenge of the weather ,North Easterly 567 what ever you want to call it ,bloody rough but we fished the flood in comfort.we had a couple of skate,and a few coddling not a bad eating size .whiting and dog fish,we came back in the river on the ebb,good job it turned really fowl.but Thames say it will be dropping tomorrow????

Sunday Tony from Maldon sorry Thames lied about the weather AGAIN. 9 anglers we fished Clacton area we had another hours flood so that was a blessing.It started off quite well but the weather deteriorated .total Five skate all returned and several codling,It wasn't great but where else could you fish? This is getting to be like a rubber stamp job but unlike some we haven't cancelled ,we've gone and got fish.

Monday yes out ,once again Thames promise improved weather ????? who knows ?let you know next week and Wednesday no wind ?where are you we have spaces cheers dave
